About Me

             I painted one acrylic painting, in art class, in 1972.  I was 13 years old.  I still have that painting tucked away somewhere.  well, Life happens and I didn't pick up a paint brush again until 2016.  I was 57 years old. I painted acrylics off and on.

          three years ago, I decided to try watercolors after touring the botanical gardens in Hilo, Hawai'i. I was compelled to paint every flower I saw when I got home! I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the flora on the island.  I decided to try watercolors at 63 years old. I fell deeply in love with the medium.

I paint for my soul, and I paint for my friends.

Watercolor painting makes me a very happy person.
